ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to attach to them; the formed larger, heavier particles fall quickly out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, create serious health risks if they enter the lungs and then the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into the indoor air cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation relies on high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, e.g. upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhalation to the lower lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonisation and negative ion treatment are particularly effective in a slightly pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and persistent cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonising and negative ion treatment produce a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air; such clean air is good for people to be in.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air also suitable for workplaces.

Indoor ozonisation cannot be performed while people are present, because ozone is produced massively to destroy microbial spores.
