The car has been with the previous owner since Jan 2022. It has been cared for and repaired as required.

We are selling at auction only because the engine has been optimised and we do not want to remove the optimisation, as BMW enthusiasts consider it important.

Optimised for fuel economy. Consumption is top-class and power has only been increased modestly.

Look at the photos and you’ll see this is not a mistreated example but well looked after.

Leather seats (stylish light leather) appear intact and feel supportive. Wood trim creates a luxurious atmosphere.

The interior otherwise seems intact. (The cup holders work — a sign that things are in order ;) )

There are several sets of wheels, even three sets included.

Fitted with summer tyres (18" / legal), studded tyres (17" / legal), and another set of summer tyres (17") with worn rubber (except one).

The car has alternate kidney grilles (BMW folk will know), a modest rear spoiler, and E60 mirror air deflectors.

Also an LED auxiliary long-range light panel, engine block heater, fog lights, metallic paint, ski hatch, automatic climate control, stability control, reversing sensors....

Good-bodied with straight panels — certainly not a rusty, dented example.

Drives straight, accelerates well (does not go into limp mode) and runs nicely. Slight vibration (tyre balance maybe?), but not the typical BMW shimmy when braking.

On a brief test it felt functional and enjoyable to drive. And to make life easier, the MOT is valid until March 2027

Since it has passed inspection, we believe it is roadworthy.

Optimised for better fuel consumption (BMW folk will know). Consumption on the motorway approx. 4.5–4.7 l/100 km and in town 6.6–7.0 l/100 km. Power about 232 hp. Passed inspection in this condition!!!
