Modestly consuming diesel Volvo V50 for sale.

The car was first registered in autumn 2008 and is a Finnish vehicle.

It requires some repairs but is roadworthy and was driven to us from Pirkanmaa. It has been in daily use by an owner who drives about 40,000 km per year.

The periodic inspection was last completed on 24 October 2025, when the mileage was 247,683 kilometres.

The next inspection must be completed no later than 26 October 2026.

The car is registered.

Only summer tyres on alloy wheels are included.

Body condition and damage

The exterior and bodywork show wear consistent with age and weather exposure.

Damage is concentrated on the side profiles, wheel arches and critical areas of the doors, and there is other minor surface rust on the body.

The edge of the left front wing has suffered corrosion, with rust penetrating through the paint.

The metal is damaged along a several-centimetre length of the wheel arch.

There are visible rust blisters near the handles of both the left front and rear doors.

Rust is also visible at the right front door handle.

In addition, there is a rust spot on the right rear door at the side moulding seam.

Interior and electrical notices

The interior condition is consistent with the car's mileage.

The tailgate seal is worn and torn at its lower edge.

The cabin fabrics and upholstery show normal wear and fading but are intact.

The electrical system requires attention. A scheduled oil-change service is due.

There is a malfunction in the parking-assist system; the instrument cluster displays the message "parking sensor requires service". This is likely caused by a parking sensor being embedded within the bumper.

Otherwise the cockpit and dashboard have been kept tidy, and the instrument cluster's analogue gauges and indicator lights otherwise function as expected.

The car has been used to transport dogs and equestrian equipment.

Technical observations and required repairs

The following technical observations were made in the engine bay and exhaust system:

The car is leaking exhaust gases around the turbocharger.

The diesel particulate filter (DPF) requires replacement or repair.

The EGR valve has recently been replaced.
