Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations

No fault codes on the engine control unit. Historical code for low oil pressure. The belt was also inspected and shows clear cracks. The engine runs unevenly. The dipstick does not wet. When warm there are ignition misfires from all cylinders.

Compression measured — pressure in every cylinder well below the reference value 9.7–14.3 bar. Cylinder 1: 9 bar, cylinder 2: 8 bar and cylinder 3: 8 bar. Piston rings most likely worn/failed.

The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us and not all functions have been tested. There may be hidden faults we did not detect during the test drive. It is possible to inspect the car more closely before placing a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
