Defects and other observations

The car is not roadworthy and must be transported by trailer or other transport vehicle.


The air suspension malfunctions in winter: a fuse blows in freezing temperatures but the system works again after replacing the fuse. The problem does not occur in above-zero conditions. The likely cause is either a weak compressor or freezing caused by moisture in the system.


Aluminium particles were found in the oil filter during an oil change, which may indicate internal wear. Possible causes include a loosening timing chain or crankshaft bearing damage.


The car has stood for about a month. It was started a couple of weeks ago, when the engine made a loud abnormal noise.


No SOH test has been performed. The vehicle can travel about 13 km on the drive battery alone under normal driving.
