Hottia heats and keeps the water at the set temperature, 0 °C - 45 °C. The Hottia water heater's diesel burner is very efficient. The burn is precisely controlled, and weather conditions do not affect the burner's power or operation. Hottia's safe use is ensured by double overheat protection, a flame monitor, a low-water cut-off, etc.

• Overheat protection: normal water temperature limited to 50 °C; overheat cut‑out at 75 °C

• The low-water switch shuts the burner off if there is not enough water in the tub

• The flame monitor recognises the flame and shuts the burner off if an anomaly is detected. The display will then show the text MISFIRE

• The self-diagnosis function prevents the heater from operating if an abnormality is detected before the burner is ignited

• The lockable door prevents unauthorised access to the burner
