Defects and other observations

During the test drive we made the following observations:

  • Rattling noise from the engine bay — timing/auxiliary drive? Vacuum hoses hanging, etc.

  • Battery weak, required jump/start with external power. Surprisingly OK to drive and the drivetrain seemed intact.

  • Brake booster not functioning, causing brake, ABS and TCS warning lights to be on. Spare parts etc. in the boot.

  • Periodic inspection not carried out/approved. Fault list expired April 2025


The vehicle has been test driven by us and fluid levels have been checked. The vehicle has not been subject to a full technical inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested.
