The City of Tampere is offering for sale, by tender, plot 837-207-1103-23 for residential, commercial and office buildings in the Hyhky district.

The plot with its buildings is located in the area covered by zoning amendment no. 8401, about 4 km west of the city centre, at Selkeenkuja 5 in Hyhky, at the junction of Pispalan valtatie and Selkeenkuja. The area is bounded to the south by the busy Pispalan valtatie, to the east by Selkeenkuja and otherwise by buildings of various ages. The surrounding area includes detached houses, terraced houses, apartment buildings and commercial premises.

Under the local plan the plot 837-207-1103-23 is designated for residential, commercial and office buildings (AL). The plot area is 363 m² and the building right is 140 k-m².

The building partly occupies the highway area and the plan requires its demolition. The building has been removed from residential use and has stood empty and unheated for several years. It is not connected to water, sewer or electricity networks.

There are no mortgages, register easements or usage restrictions registered on the property, nor other encumbrances. The city's authorities have not carried out soil investigations on the property.

The highest accepted bidder will be contacted by the city after the tender and the winner will be asked for any other parties' personal details and information on any protection orders.
