Sauna barge — Rakka Asunnot Oy bankruptcy estate, Haapavesi

The bankruptcy estate is selling the sauna barge shown in the pictures. The lower deck contains a sauna, changing area, WC or similar and the wheelhouse. The upper deck has a roof terrace.

Observations made by the bankruptcy estate regarding the sauna barge:

• wood surfaces require treatment

• upper-deck railing/fence is wobbly and requires reinforcement

• stair treads must be renewed

• lower-deck sliding doors must be replaced or repaired

• overall the sauna barge appears well presented

• no smell of mould or similar inside

Information received by the bankruptcy estate about the sauna barge (not verified by the estate):

• barge built in 2016

• 4 pontoons (0.60 m x 8.00 m) with double ends

• pontoons total buoyancy 8,000 kg, barge own weight 4,000 kg

• Honda lightly used 10V engine (BROKEN)

• steering controls (throttle and helm)

• 200 W solar panel system

• sauna barge built from quality materials (material costs over €25,000 excl. VAT)

• walls made of softwood plywood

The sauna barge is not registered. The buyer is responsible for any required registrations.

Measurements of the barge:

Height approx. 4.30 m

Length approx. 8.20 m

Width approx. 4.80 m (note the barge's widest point—from outer edge of the light canopy to the outer edge of the light canopy—is approx. 5.37 m)

The barge must be moved by water approx. 400 m to the lifting site. From the lifting site the sauna barge can be loaded onto a truck with a HIAB crane. The buyer must provide their own outboard motor for moving the barge. The buyer is responsible for moving, lifting and loading on site; the bankruptcy estate will not assist.

The item must be collected at an agreed time within 14 days of acceptance.

The sauna barge's history is unknown to the bankruptcy estate. The buyer must acknowledge this risk when bidding.

The item must be paid for within 24 hours of acceptance.

After the auction ends the buyer will receive payment and collection details by email.
