Here’s an Audi for someone who isn’t bothered by faults or for a DIYer — with a little work it can certainly be very good. It just came to me but I don’t have the time or interest and buyer’s remorse hit, so it’s leaving the yard to the highest bidder!

Model year 2001. Inspection expires 28 October 2026. 409,000 km, 1.8 turbo, manual, quattro 4WD. Feels like it pulls well; I don’t know if it’s been tuned.

An oil and filter change would certainly be advisable.

18" summer wheels and 16" winter wheels. In my opinion all tyres are poor except two winter tyres. See the tyre pictures.

My fault observations:

- Trip meter resets when the car is switched off

- Pipe leaks under the rear axle (large hole) and a smaller leak after the downpipe

- Various cosmetic faults shown in the listing photos: rust, dents, poor paintwork, colour differences and other deficiencies

- Warning lights for brakes and an oil sensor are on; the oil sensor is broken. No unusual noise when braking.

- Crack in the windscreen but unlikely to fail inspection unless it worsens

- Fault with the head unit: radio doesn’t work but Bluetooth works. Radio works with another unit

- Front passenger door does not stay closed; it worked when the car arrived but stopped functioning
