Looking for a car that has seen more of Finland’s roads than many professional drivers, yet still glides on as dignified as when it left the factory? Here it is. The odometer shows a respectable 484,000 kilometres, which in traditional Volvo language naturally translates to: “nicely run-in”.

Reliable engineering: Under the bonnet works Volvo’s dependable and economical 181-horsepower D4 diesel, paired with a polite-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission. With this combination overtaking is safe, and the fuel gauge needle drops so slowly you’ll occasionally forget which side the filler cap is on. Towing capacity with brakes is up to 1,800 kg, so a larger trailer is no problem.

This example has powerful automatic climate control, a Webasto fuel-operated heater and seat heaters, so you’ll be warm even if Siberian temperatures bite outside!

The car was previously used as a taxi, so the service history is excellent. Almost full main dealer history, apart from the most recent services. Last timing service done at 451,000 km!



Let’s go through the car in more detail:

Body condition: The front bumper has been knocked and has been poorly repainted at some point (visible in the photos). There is also a very small rust spot (about fingertip size) on the right front arch and minor rust above the windscreen. Overall the car is in very sensible condition considering the mileage! Small “dirt marks” remain from old taxi tape, but these will come off with proper cleaning/polishing.

Interior: Very tidy, no unpleasant odours. Seats and interior are generally in good condition for the miles. There is a tear on the side of the driver and passenger seats (visible in the photos).

Tyres: Two sets of tyres on wheels, both fitted with Volvo alloys. Summer tyres are in fair condition — good at the front, more worn at the rear. Winter tyres are studded and in good condition.
