I have owned the Trabi for about 7 years. During that time I replaced the clutch, flywheel, engine gaskets and honed the cylinders. I didn’t finish the job due to lack of time and it has mostly stood in the garage as decoration. Now storage space is getting tight, so I need to part with it. The drive shafts still need replacing (one joint knocks; I bought full axles for both sides as spares — these are included), the carburettor needs adjustment (it tends to stall at speed; idle works and it revs when stationary — possibly needs float-level adjustment?). Expect other issues typical of an old car; for example, the brakes should be checked after standing. Collection by trailer!
