The car runs — it moves forwards and backwards comfortably.


However, there are a few small things that need attention.


  • If the valve cover gasket is replaced the oil leak will probably stop. I tried to replace it myself but it went badly and we didn’t try again, so we’ve lived with the oil leak. (It didn’t leak much when I bought it — the previous owner had already bought new gaskets but hadn’t bothered to fit them.)

  • The vacuum pump gasket and the thermostat have been replaced.

  • There is a crack in the windscreen. Two sets of tyres (winter on steel rims). Cruise control is fitted, but only works sometimes (and at Christmas). The car has a different radio fitted that I use, but it is not included — the original will be included (I can’t say if it works as I haven’t used it). Interior is generally tidy. Driver’s seat fabric is slightly torn.

  • There is some knocking noise coming from somewhere.

  • The boot light stays on even when the boot is closed. The rear door locking from the key does not work.

  • A bulb warning light is illuminated.

  • The car is old and has various issues — feel free to come and inspect.

  • The car is sold exactly as it is at the time of purchase.

  • There is some kind of service book, but not all pages are present.


An oil filter and a 5 L can of oil are included.


This is a good, spacious everyday car for someone with the enthusiasm and know-how to sort the few issues.
