How to submit bids

The lot is sold by incremental bids in an online auction held on the www.huutokaupat.com website during 25 May 2026–11 June 2026. Participation in the auction requires registration. The bidding deadline ends at 13:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the service provider’s system functionality. The highest bid is the one the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest. The enforcement officer will decide separately whether to accept or reject the highest bid.

If it is not possible to submit purchase bids via the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written purchase offer to the enforcement authority, which will be attached to the online auction as the maximum bid according to the automatic increment. The written offer must be signed and must state the bidder’s contact details, the maximum amount offered and the www.huutokaupat.com lot number concerned. A written purchase offer is binding and the same conditions apply as in the online auction. The offer must be submitted no later than 9 June 2026 at 12:00 to the Enforcement Authority’s Kotka office, address Vuorikatu 5C, 48100 KOTKA or by email to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. If an accepted bid is approved, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the stated payment deadline. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability for compensation under section 25, chapter 5 of the Enforcement Code.

Payment terms

If the highest bid is accepted, the buyer must immediately pay the full purchase price into the Enforcement Authority’s official account. Payment details will be provided after the bid is accepted. The Enforcement Authority will contact the maker of the highest accepted bid. The highest bidder must state on whose behalf the bid was made. If not stated, the highest bidder will be considered the buyer.

If payment is not made within the specified time, the buyer must pay default interest on the entire purchase price in accordance with section 4, subsection 1 of the Interest Act until the purchase price is paid or a new sale is completed. The current rate of default interest is 9.50%.

Buyer’s obligations and rights

The lot is located in Kotka and the buyer must collect the vehicle immediately at their own expense from the sale location once the offer has been accepted and the purchase price paid. The timing must be agreed separately with the enforcement inspector handling the matter. Any vehicle taxes that fall due during the sale period will also transfer to the buyer’s responsibility.

Other information

The property is seized and will be sold by the enforcement officer by public sale in accordance with the general auction terms of the Enforcement Code where applicable. The sales brochure is indicative and is not a comprehensive description of the lot.

The lot will be handed over to the buyer after payment of the purchase price, at which point ownership transfers to the buyer. A certificate of acquisition will be given to the buyer. The buyer must collect the vehicle immediately at their own cost from the sale location once the offer has been accepted and the purchase price paid.
