Up for auction is a proud and genuine American car straight from daily long-distance use: Cadillac Escalade 2005 with the 6.0-litre V8 and seating for 6!

This car delivers an incredibly nice driving experience, the V8’s rich sound and premium interior, equipment and materials.

The car’s first owner in Finland and likely the importer was Jari Mäki Oy, who owned it 2012–2025 and had it serviced very thoroughly. The car came to us as a trade-in from the second owner and runs nicely!

The car has recently passed inspection with clean papers; next inspection 10 May 2027. Service records in Finland include:

Sep 2013 – engine oil + filter, front and rear axle oils, transfer case oil.

May 2015 – engine oil + filter

Apr 2016 – brake pads + handbrake shoes

Oct 2016 – engine oil + filter

Jan 2017 – engine oil + filter + crankshaft seal

Apr 2018 – engine oil + filter

Jun 2019 – engine oil + filter + transmission oil + filter, check of other oils and fluids

Oct 2019 – air filter + MAF sensor cleaning

Nov 2019 – engine oil + filter

Dec 2019 – diagnostics, testing, engine oil + filter, fluid checks

Jul 2020 – engine oil + filter

Oct 2020 – engine oil, windscreen washer fluid

Nov 2020 – oils and fluids checked

Nov 2022 – engine oil + filter, replaced multi-rib belt, greased front joints, checked other fluids, changed transmission oils, replaced all brake calipers, transmission valve body wiring harness, etc.

2023, 2024, 2025 – services at Tarvike Center in Ivalo; basic annual oil changes. Alternator and brake booster also replaced; these parts ordered via Jari Mäki Oy.

At every service front/rear axle oils and transfer case oil were checked and a general inspection performed; front joints greased.

Jan 2026 – oils + filter + coolant change

Feb 2026 – transfer case oil + filter, front axle oil, rear axle oil change

Feb 2026 – air suspension level compressor replaced, left front fog lamp replaced, chassis greased, exhaust renewed

Mar 2026 – control arms front and rear, new summer tyres fitted, wheel alignment

Mar 2026 – engine oil + filter + transmission oils + oil additive

Apr 2026 – MAF sensor, brake shoes, rear pads and discs; still requires a caliper swap (new caliper provided with the car for the new owner)

With this service history the car has been very well cared for. Most work was carried out at Jari Mäki Oy and documentation comes with the car; see the pictures.

The body shows minor age-related wear — see photos. No major rust and overall very good condition for its age and kilometres. Summer tyres have 8–9 mm tread, replaced at the turn of the year. Studded winter tyres have up to 10 mm tread and all studs are intact. Both tyre sets are on attractive chrome alloy wheels (likely original Cadillac wheels).

This would make a great hobby car. The AWD and automatic gearbox work very well. Gears engage properly and the engine feels strong for a vehicle of this size.

The 6.0-litre petrol engine gives a full and deep exterior sound.

Drives straight and stable even at higher speeds and doesn’t judder when braking.

There are a few faults. Front seat heaters do not work, likely a blown fuse or relay — pressing the button lights it up but it goes out the same second and a slight click is heard. An easy fix for someone competent. Parking sensors do not work. Occasionally it warns of tyre pressure; it may lack pressure sensors or there’s a fault in the monitor. A new rear brake caliper has been supplied and needs fitting. Minor issues overall.

The car was imported from the United States (2012) and CarVertical shows no damage or odometer tampering. CarVertical report attached!
