Honda CR-V, 2007, Kempele

Solid Honda CR-V. There is wear and tear at this mileage but the body is in fairly good condition. The car has a slight dog smell, but not particularly sharp to my nose. On the test drive I noticed it pulls slightly to the right and the steering wheel is a bit off-centre.

At higher speeds the car vibrates a little, and also when braking. There is an occasional small creak from the suspension and the turbo whistles slightly, but the car is driveable normally. I did not hear anything unusual from the engine and the timing chain did not rattle.

The radio display does not work because it requires the radio code which I could not find in the car (the code can be obtained from a Honda dealer if needed); for this reason the reversing camera currently does not work. Front parking sensors do not work, rear ones do.

Electric driver seat and glass roof add comfort and the leather upholstery is easier to keep clean. The tailgate gas struts no longer hold the tailgate open.

In the most recent MOT the remark was: Headlight, Left – Not working. Other lights, including the auxiliary light, work.

The car comes with two sets of tyres and both have tread left, so they do not need replacing immediately.

There is plenty of space in the car, so it works well both as a countryside/utility vehicle and for everyday family use.

The car has a service book, service receipts, and has been serviced by the owner.
