A 250 W motor in the rear hub provides a pleasant feel when assistance engages and does not stress the chain. The bike is intended for road use, therefore assistance is limited to 25 km/h. When this speed is exceeded the assistance stops, but you can continue riding normally without assistance. A thumb-throttle accessory is included with the bicycle; it is intended for use off public roads in closed areas.

Does not require motor insurance (max power 250 W) when used without the thumb throttle and limited to 25 km/h. Use of the thumb throttle, or bypassing the speed limiter, requires motor insurance. Please check with your insurer that the e-bike is covered by your home insurance.
