Well-served Seat Ibiza up for auction!

This Seat Ibiza has served its previous keeper for surprisingly long. The car was with the previous owner for 13 years.


As you might expect from the 1.2-litre TSI with this mileage, the timing chain rattles quite noticeably. Unusually, the chain appears to be original. The car also shows a fault code for the camshaft position sensor, and we found cold starts to be troublesome. When the engine warms up the chain rattle almost stops, but I wouldn’t drive it much before a repair.


The car has general signs of use and, as noted, the chain fault, but otherwise is a reasonable vehicle that should run for a long time after a little repair.
