Fiat Ducato, 2005, Utsjoki

Fiat Ducato with rust damage for sale due to lack of time. Rust is present on the chassis: main rails, wheel arches, sills and floor panels. Photos illustrate the damage. I no longer have time for it after the arrival of children.

Mechanical parts are functional and the vehicle runs. In cold weather a slight clutch slip was noticed when the engine was cold; it disappeared as the engine warmed up.

Stored outside for roughly 4 years, but started yearly and run until warm.

The vehicle has two sets of steel wheels. The studded tyres and summer tyres have low mileage but have aged after four years of storage.

The vehicle starts well when cold and runs smoothly.

Previously used as a work vehicle, I believe by a plumbing company. The driver’s seat is worn through on the door side.

Some welding has already been done, e.g. the nearside wheel arch, and many spot welds. The cab is insulated with STP Silver and Gold sound-deadening mats (doors and cab floor).

Cargo area lined with plywood and fitted with a thick, good-condition ply floor. Bulkhead between cargo area and cab with a window.

The cargo side-door rollers appear a little loose. The door does not lock in the open position.

Full-length roof rack and a ladder on the rear door. Rear corner plastic trims are intact. Includes a hinged vertical window for the cargo area and a short piece of replacement panel.

The battery is dead. If sold, I will take the battery with me, temporary plates will be attached and off to new adventures.
