Land Rover Discovery, 2007, Vihti

Direct and well-running Discovery that is no longer used much. Currently driven mainly to the summer cottage on the motorway.

Equipment: Webasto heater with timer, engine block heater with internal plug. Aftermarket 2‑DIN head unit (original unit included). Added opening handle to the tailgate so it can be opened from inside. Light bar on the tailgate with 4x Purelux Terrain work lights. A strong LED panel on the front. Heated windscreen. Slow, but functional. Seat heaters work, including on the rear seats. Air conditioning appeared to be working.

A special feature is the suspension height‑adjustment module, which allows free control of ride height either from a dash‑mounted button or via a phone app. Maximum ground clearance with summer tyres (measured under the rear axle) is about 38 cm. On the motorway the suspension can be lowered by around 25 mm while driving. Also has a levelling function.

Driven approximately 20,000 km in this Discovery, about 80% on main roads. Good service history and repaired as needed by the owner.

Previous owners have receipts totalling over EUR 20,000. Replaced airbags, suspension compressor, glow plugs, suspension wear parts, Webasto heater, timing kit, oil pump and belt; rust damage welded, etc.

Passed inspection cleanly at the beginning of January.

Summer tyres:

Toyo Open Country AT3, 255/70R18, purchased July 2024.

Winter tyres:

Michelin X‑Ice North 265/65R18. Purchased February 2025.

Included: a timing kit with water pump, oil‑pump belt and thermostat. The current timing kit has roughly 50,000 km left.

Now vacuumed, seats cleaned with a washer and the interior scrubbed clean. Still in occasional use.
