EVO2 is an updated version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matte white design and a new stylish remote control.

The highly popular Reco 60 ventilation unit has been updated to the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now features a stylish matte white finish that blends even better with Finnish home interiors. EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply discreetly. The unit is still supplied with a mains plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new and more elegant remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for around 30–40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the installed space, bringing fresh air in and expelling exhaust air. The unit’s ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you also get savings on heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 reduces the cooling demand of air-source heat pumps by cooling the incoming warm air with the exhaust air in the heat exchanger.

Reco 60 is excellent for garages, storage spaces and holiday cottages. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that currently use natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve adequate ventilation. In that case the units’ cycles can be timed so that some blow out while others blow in simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-wall installation. The telescopic design allows installation in wall structures 250 mm–400 mm thick. A d=165 mm hole is made in the wall for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied mains plug directly from a socket.

The unit is sized for continuous use, so it should remain connected to the mains at all times. It is controlled using the supplied remote or the buttons on the edge of the unit. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating pleasant indoor air. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
