EVO2 is a renewed version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matt white design and a new stylish remote control.

The popular Reco 60 ventilation unit has been updated to become the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now features a stylish matt white finish that blends even better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply. The unit is still supplied with a mains plug, which is the preferred connection option. A completely new, more elegant remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In single-family houses, ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy use; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the installed space, bringing fresh air in and expelling exhaust air. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so alongside fresh indoor air you also get savings on heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 reduces the cooling demand of air-source heat pumps when the exhaust air cools the incoming warm air in the heat exchanger.

The Reco 60 is ideal for garages, storage spaces and cottages. It can also improve ventilation in single-family houses that rely on natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve adequate ventilation; in that case operating cycles can be scheduled so some units exhaust while others supply air simultaneously.

The ventilator is designed for through-wall installation. Its telescopic structure allows installation in wall constructions 250 mm–400 mm thick. A Ø165 mm hole is required for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied mains plug directly from a socket.

The unit is designed for continuous use and should remain connected to the mains. It is controlled with the supplied remote or with the buttons on the unit's edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, humidity and carbon dioxide, creating a pleasant indoor environment. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from the room air.
