This cleaner has three operating modes:

• Degas

The degassing function removes dissolved air and gases from the cleaning fluid before the actual cleaning. Although ultrasonic cleaning works via bubbles (cavitation), excessive air in the water reduces cleaning efficiency because air absorbs ultrasound energy. This increases cleaning efficiency by about 30% and offers extra protection for more delicate items.

• Gentle / Half power

Ultrasonic cleaning at reduced power, intended for more delicate parts (e.g. watches, jewellery, precision-mechanical parts, electronics).

• Full power

Ultrasonic cleaning at full power for removing tougher grease and dirt.

Note! This is a new, updated model that differs from older “basic” models sold here and elsewhere:

• more functions (gentle, full power and degas)

• four ultrasonic transducers; most others have only one — gives a more even, faster and more effective clean!

• 600 W heating power; others typically have 220 W or less
