Recently inspected and lightly used Hiace. Has been on the same farm since new. The sill was patched for the first time for the inspection. The underside is otherwise well preserved; the lower edge of the rear door glass was welded about two years ago.


Interior: driver's seat torn at the usual spot. Passenger seat in neat condition. Both seats have heaters. Speaker cut-outs have been made in the doors in a rather rough style. Rubber mat in the cargo area. Plywood linings on the cargo doors have worn off over time. A compartment has been built into the bulkhead with the lower part towards the cab and a locker on the cargo side. Loose items shown in the pictures are not included in the sale. There is space under the locker along the full length of the cargo area.


No service book. Serviced so that engine oil + filter and fuel filter are changed every 10,000 km. Drivetrain oils every 30,000 km. Timing belt replaced about every 6 years. Last changed at 240,000 km but it is due by age again. Oil level sensor broken; hence a warning light is on the dash.


This is still worth turning into a long-term vehicle. The underbody is still easily repairable. It hasn't been filled with underseal anywhere. Comes on good studded winter tyres. Of the summer tyres two have sidewall damage and two are intact and lightly used.
