Garage clearance!

Fully restored rider's rocket!

Custom-built Hornet to my taste; most changes are cosmetic and visible in the photos.

Work done last year before winter storage:

Front forks serviced: slightly stiffer oil, new fork seals and front wheel bearings replaced.

Engine inspected, valve timing checked, valve clearances checked and compressions measured (just over 12 bar in each).

Digital dash replaced + fuel level sensor added to the tank; tank cleaned and fuel filter replaced. ECU relocated under the seat and the wiring harness inspected/modded and re-wrapped. (Now ready for adding a gear indicator to the dash).

Throttle bodies and injectors fully cleaned off the bike; throttle bodies synced and fuel delivery calibrated + new air filter.

Spark plugs and plug leads replaced.

Coolant and brake fluids changed.

Brakes fully overhauled; discs and pads have plenty of life left.

Seat reupholstered.

Engine oil and filter changed every season.

Chains and sprockets cleaned, lubricated and adjusted regularly; in good condition.

Fitted with fatbar risers and stainless steel exhaust.

The original handlebars, instrument cluster, headlight and exhausts are not fitted.

A box of other original parts is included + a pile of spare parts such as ignition parts, sensors etc., which may be hard to source nowadays.
