Skoda Octavia released from professional use for sale due to a change in business.
I have owned the car since it had 212,000 km on the clock; I’ve personally driven it to about 225,000 km and it has been the most reliable car I’ve owned. Although the mileage is high, I’m confident someone with a bit of technical knowledge can still get an excellent everyday car from this. This is also one of the last model years without the AdBlue system. The cheapest 2018-or-newer Octavia on Nettiauto currently costs €7,250.
Current fault:
When cold the idle vibrates slightly, though the revs stay around ~700 rpm; when warm the idle is normal. Also vibrates a little when accelerating at constant/throttle-low revs, but not at full throttle. No warning lights are on.
All injectors were recently replaced (refurbished), but the fault persisted. The car is fully driveable as is.

Records of services I did are attached, but the main larger works were:
- Alternator 02/2024, 277,000 km
- Clutch kit incl. flywheel 04/2025, 379,000 km; clutch master cylinder replaced earlier at 316,000 km
- Timing head incl. water pump and multi-rib belt 03/2025, 373,000 km
- Both crankshaft seals replaced, 373,000 km & 379,000 km
- All shock absorbers and top mounts and rear springs, front wishbones 10/2025, 426,000 km
- Oil changes every 30,000 km up to 210,000 km, and roughly every 15,000 km after 210,000 km. Most recent oil change 16/12/2025 at 436,000 km. No oil top-ups needed between 15,000 km intervals.
- MOT last done 22/05/2025. As the car has been registered for permit-required use the next stamp is due 22/05/2026, but if the buyer re-registers it for private use the inspection interval should revert to the normal 2 years for cars of this age, in which case the next inspection would be May 2027.
The car also has an unusually high equipment level for an Octavia (Style), including:
- Rear-view camera and front & rear parking sensors
- Remote-controlled Webasto heater
- 4x seat heaters
- Heated windscreen
- Adaptive cruise control
- Tinted rear windows and 5% darkening film
- LED trim strips in every door
- Keyless entry/start
- CarPlay/Android Auto
- Automatic high beam
Other notes:
- Right headlight housing slightly cracked at the upper corner; did not affect the MOT
- Bumper has paint chips from stone impacts in a few places; touch-up pen included
- If you look very closely there is the beginning of rust in the left rear wheel arch, but the paint is still intact
- Parts came off the centre console opening mechanism when I tightened the handbrake cable; it still works but not as smoothly as it should
- The cruise control stalk has almost all markings worn away
- The plastic fastener at the top of the grille has split, visible in the photos

Set 1: Winter
Wheels: New OEM 16" steel wheels (purchased late 2025)
Tyres: Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8, 5 years old with 5 mm tread
Set 2: Summer
Wheels: Skoda OEM 16" alloy wheels
Tyres: 2x Radar (new, bought 08/2025), 2x 9-year-old Michelins with just over 2 mm tread — nearing replacement
Set 3: Winter
Wheels: Skoda OEM 17" alloy wheels; at least one is bent/damaged but usable if fitted to the rear axle
Tyres: 17" Continental studded tyres which are fully worn
