Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations: Generally in good condition for the mileage. Keyless entry did not work, but the key fob functions.


Previous bidder's notes about the car:


Service on the high‑voltage system: the fault code can only be cleared by reprogramming both control units. This was done at Vieskan Autosähkö. They said the fault code will probably recur; it was last cleared in November. The car should not be put on charge while frozen without driving first — it should be charged immediately after driving. The car runs battery tests; if the sixth test fails it will illuminate a fault light. So even keeping it in a garage may not prevent the code if the car is shut down in freezing conditions.

Moisture inside the right rear light; the indicator works but very dimly — likely a contact issue. Other lights work.

Engine coolant is disappearing somewhere (possible leak).

Under the oil cap the oil looks yellow and mayonnaise‑like, even though the oil was recently changed.

In 'mountain' drive mode the engine revs high and does not change gear. In other drive modes it operates normally.
