KIA Niro plug-in, 2018, Hyvinkää

Well-kept Kia up for auction — for private purchase! About a year of driving left until the next inspection and it was last serviced a couple of months ago. An aftermarket fuel-operated auxiliary heater has been fitted. We have driven the car approx. 1,500 km and it does not rattle and otherwise appears to function completely normally. During that time the engine warning light came on once but went out by itself.
Fault codes were read later and the following was found in memory:

- No codes in the engine management.

- One high-voltage code: P1B96 - Battery (high voltage): cell voltage – illogical voltage ratio

We have charged the car battery several times and used the car normally with the combustion engine assisting, and nothing unusual has been noticed. When the battery is fully charged, the instrument cluster shows an electric range of about 40 km.
