EVO2 is an updated version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matte white design and a new stylish remote control.

The popular Reco 60 was redesigned into the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now has an elegant matte white finish that blends better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply unobtrusively. The unit is still supplied with a plug, which is the primary connection option. In addition, a completely new and more elegant remote control has been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for roughly 30–40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the fitted space by bringing fresh air in and expelling exhaust air. The unit’s ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you also get savings on heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 can reduce the cooling need of an air-source heat pump, as the exhaust air cools the incoming warm air in the heat exchanger.

The Reco 60 is excellent for garages, storage spaces and holiday cottages. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that rely on natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require several units to achieve sufficient ventilation; in that case units can be scheduled so some blow out while others bring air in simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-wall installation. The telescopic structure allows installation in walls 250 mm–400 mm thick. A Ø165 mm hole is made in the wall for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied plug directly into a socket.

The unit is sized for continuous use and should remain connected to the mains. The unit is controlled via the supplied remote or the buttons on the side of the unit. The device significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating a pleasant indoor climate. The unit can be fitted with an optional separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from the room air.
