Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we carried out a test drive and condition assessment, during which we made the following observations:

  • Brand-new Hankook studded tyres

  • The car was driven 600 km over a weekend by the driver and operated relatively normally

  • On the test drive I noticed there may be a loss of power

  • The engine warning light is on

  • When cold the engine knocks (valves etc)

  • When accelerating hard while cold, blue smoke appears

The vehicle inspection has expired; the fault list is shown in the pictures.
