Daily-driven former family budget car used to take children to nursery. This car also has a heated steering wheel and an installed coolant heater — not one of those ineffective heaters they often are.


Good, cheap and economical everyday car. Interior tidy. No smell of mould, pets, smoke or perfumes.


Service book present and fairly regularly stamped. Timing belt and water pump replaced.

  • The suspension knocks, a very “sharp” clunk in bumps. Not inspected.

  • Coolant sometimes needs topping up — not much, but a little disappears from the expansion tank. Could the water-pump seal be leaking? The water pump has been replaced — perhaps fitted poorly? Or from the EGR area on the left of the engine near the oil filter? Or the head gasket? Not inspected; coolant was topped up as needed and the car driven happily.

  • Some local rust and small dents; slightly larger dents on the bonnet edge.

  • Windscreen cracked: one transverse crack at the right edge. Visible in the pictures?
