Portable performance
The Topping G5 is a USB DAC, Bluetooth receiver and powerful headphone amplifier in one.

Compact, stylish aluminium case
The G5’s case is CNC-machined from aluminium, making it both light and durable. A faux‑leather base plate prevents the G5 from scratching devices stacked beneath it.

Easy setup
The Topping G5 is compatible with most modern operating systems: Windows 10 or later, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android are all supported. The device works plug‑and‑play without separate drivers. The G5 uses a second‑generation XMOS microcontroller and the USB input natively supports high sample rates such as PCM 32‑bit / 768 kHz and DSD512. Its built‑in 4000 mAh battery means the amplifier won’t drain your phone’s battery when used with a mobile device.

Bluetooth
The G5 is certified for Wireless Hi‑Res Audio and LDAC. It uses the QCC5125 chipset and supports LDAC/AAC/SBC/APTX/APTX LL/APTX HD and APTX Adaptive protocols.

Integrated NFCA headphone amplifier
The G5 uses a custom NFCA module optimised for portable use. NFCA provides high output power, low distortion and long battery life. It pairs well with both sensitive in‑ear monitors and power‑hungry, high‑impedance headphones.

Suitable for almost all headphones
The G5 has a 3‑step gain switch so it can be matched to both sensitive and insensitive headphones. Maximum output is 21 Vpp and the 175 mW output into 300 Ω easily drives high‑impedance headphones. An extremely low noise floor < 0.3 uVrms combined with < 0.1 Ω output impedance also makes it an excellent match for sensitive in‑ear monitors.

Durable design
The front panel has protective guards to prevent accidental movement of the volume control and to keep the headphone jack safe from damage.

ES9068AS D/A chip
The built‑in ESS ES9068AS DAC is highly regarded and has been carefully tuned to perform well in a portable unit.

Long battery life
Thanks to careful optimisation the Topping G5 can reach up to 25 hours of battery life; in DAC mode the battery lasts about 9–10 hours between charges.
