Two old hand-painted spinning-wheel boards / decorative spinning-wheel parts.

The pieces feature a beautiful folk decoration with floral motifs. One board is painted on a dark ground with colourful floral decoration and the other on a reddish-brown ground with traditional ornaments.

One board bears a handwritten date 1889, indicating late 19th-century manufacture.

Spinning-wheel boards are part of the traditional Finnish spinning-wheel structure and were often decorated. Such items were sometimes made as gifts and dated.

NOTE: The item must be collected between 16 March 2026 and 20 March 2026. Items can be collected on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00. If the item is not collected within the agreed time, we will charge a storage fee of €20 per day per item for additional days.

The items are located at Sorvaajankatu 15, Helsinki. Collection takes place from the loading dock, which has an adjustable bridge and vehicle ramp. Please note that carrying the item to a vehicle/trailer from the warehouse collection point is the collector's responsibility.
