A very cleverly built Sprinter for someone.

• The van has been fitted with all the metalwork and at least plenty of auxiliary lights. The interior has tasteful button-tufted leather and a laminate floor. Red LEDs have been installed inside, with mood lights in the ceiling and other fittings to create atmosphere.

• The sound system has been upgraded and custom door panels fitted with good speakers; it sounds great, although the exterior may look a little alarming at first. Easy to tidy up neatly. In the rear roof there are four 15×23 cm (6×9 in) speakers. The bass is handled by two 30.5 cm (12 in) subwoofers behind the rear seats.

• To keep the van warm in winter a Chinese Webasto-style heater has been fitted. The vehicle’s original Webasto appears to be seized and has not been investigated further. There is also a Defa hose heater and a battery maintainer. All lights operate via a Purelux control box.

• For winter there are 45.7 cm (18 in) aluminium wheels with studded tyres used for one winter, and for summer 50.8 cm (20 in) aluminium wheels with tyres in fair condition.

• Remember this is a Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter, so there may be rust as is common with these, but this is by no means a rotten example.
