During a short test drive we made the following observations:
For some reason the car's fan draws the battery even when the ignition is off. The exact cause has not been determined, but there is an electrical fault causing the battery to drain whenever the car is switched off. The fan's plug has been disconnected completely, but it still runs as long as the battery has charge.
When started with a booster the car runs normally apart from warning lights caused by the weak battery, which go out once the battery charges. The car does not rattle or knock and the tested equipment worked normally.
The battery did not charge sufficiently during 15–20 minutes of driving to allow a restart even immediately after switching off.
There is an issue with the rear door handle on the driver's side; it feels like the cable has come loose/broken from the outer handle.
Resolving the electrical fault should leave plenty of miles in the car! Less than a year ago the front and rear brake discs and pads were replaced. The car feels normal and functional when driven. The idle is also smooth and steady.
No technical condition inspection has been performed by us and not all equipment has been tested. The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. You are welcome to test drive and inspect the car on site. Please arrange your visit in advance to ensure a smooth process. Thank you!
