Manufactured by Arabia in the 1950s–1960s to Alvar Aalto’s designs as part of architectural lighting solutions. Especially used in Aalto-designed public buildings as glare shields for indirect lighting and to soften the light.

Rare original architectural ceramic parts – not mass-produced. Sold as a lot of 6 pieces.

Condition:
As shown in the photos. Minor defects on some rods.

NOTE: The lot must be collected between 16–20 March 2026. Items can be collected on weekdays between 08:00–16:00. If the lot is not collected within the agreed period, we will charge a storage fee of €20 per day per item.

Items are located at Sorvaajankatu 15, Helsinki. Collection takes place from the loading dock, which has an adjustable ramp and vehicle ramp. Please note that carrying the item to your vehicle/trailer from the storage pickup point is the collector’s responsibility.
