TERRAGRAFIA is a unique printmaking method developed in Israel. This technique uses a thick colour paste, an acrylic- or oil-based binder and sand. The sand used in Terragrafia is collected from the Judean and Negev deserts. The result is a painting-like, coarse and durable surface texture that lets strongly recurring colours stand out.
