Welcome to Ylläs, Äkäslompolo, in the heart of Lapland’s fell scenery and peaceful nature, at Kuopanpohjan Rauha Lodge. This modern, high-quality villa, completed in 2024, offers excellent facilities for a relaxing holiday, active outdoor pursuits and pleasant social time together.

The property’s total area is 129 m², with spaces designed for comfortable stays by several guests.

Location and services

The villa is in a quiet area but in an excellent location for Ylläs services and activities:

• K-Market Jounin Kauppa – about a 9-minute drive

• Ski slopes – about a 15-minute drive

• Cross-country ski tracks start about 600 m away

• Snowmobile trail about 1 km away

• It is also possible to ski or snowmobile directly from the cabin’s yard

• Kuerlinkat, waterfall and the Kuerjoki river about 500 m away

• Horse stable (Lapland trekking horses) about 400 m away

• Café & Butik Kuopantila about 500 m away

• Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park and Finland’s largest cross-country ski network are in the area

• In summer, berry and mushroom forests begin almost at the doorstep, and the area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing.

Terms

• Payment must be made within 24 hours of the auction ending. The auction winner’s bid is binding. If the winner fails to pay within the time limit, they agree to pay a €300 contractual penalty to cover administrative and sales-related costs.

• Pets allowed.

• No smoking.

• Minimum age for the booker is 18 years.

• Not for party use; if significant disturbance or rule-breaking occurs during the stay, the host has the right to terminate the booking without refund.
