For sale for repair: 2.0 TFSI A4. The instrument cluster intermittently shows the oil pressure warning light. The oil pressure sensor has been replaced but this did not fix the issue. The oil pump/balance shaft assembly likely needs replacing.


The car is in good condition for its age and has been well maintained, including:

  • Transfer pump

  • Timing belt + water pump

  • Camshaft chain + tensioner

  • Serpentine belt idler pulley

  • Right front drive shaft

  • Spark plugs

  • Breather valve + hoses

  • Thermostat

  • Oil and filters



Besides the oil pressure issue, the central locking remote does not work (the physical key works). The front bumper is slightly loose where it meets the wings (see photos). Very little rust for a B7 body; the worst rust is on the front wings. These are still repairable (see photos).


MOT in December, so one year’s roadworthiness.


Collection by trailer is recommended, as it is not advisable to drive due to the oil pressure problem.
