It keeps its dimensions and resists moisture and heat well. The smooth and pleasant alder bench boards are very comfortable to sit on, as the surface does not get hot even in strong steam.


The popular alder has a warm, reddish colour and gives a mild, natural wood scent. If desired, alder can be treated as preferred, for example with paraffin oil.


Grade II bench boards may include colour variation and knotty areas.
