Himalayan salt, coarse (2–5 mm) / in 25 kg sacks

Product batches originally intended for food sale that were found to be Grade II. The product contains white salt crystals that contrast with the salt. The salt is pale pink so the crystals are clearly visible. It was decided the crystals cause unnecessary confusion for customers, so the products were rejected. The defect is cosmetic.

The salt was previously laboratory tested and found to be food-grade, but any re-testing is the buyer’s responsibility. Despite being second-quality, the products have been stored in clean premises and always on pallets. The salts have been kept in a heated warehouse with the temperature maintained cool, at around +15 °C. The so-called expiry dates shown on the packaging are not really applicable, as salt remains in excellent condition for decades. Under current food legislation, ‘best before’ markings are not added to salts because their shelf life is effectively unlimited. This is intended to reduce unnecessary waste.

Old test results are no longer available. The products are sold as they are, with no right of return.

Sales lot per pallet approximately: 44 sacks × 25 kg = 1,100 kg per pallet. 7 pallets.

Total 7,700 kg.

Collection within 7 days of the end of the auction. Collection to be arranged separately with the seller. Collection can be split into two pick-ups. Collection must take place on weekdays between 07:00 and 13:00. The facility has a large loading door.

Delivery as pallet freight for the whole quantity: 790 (tax included).
