For a VAG-oriented DIY mechanic or a professional, a nice example to work on. Bodywork and interior are in very good condition as shown in the pictures; valid for driving until the end of the year. Fitted with good winter tyres and there are also well-conditioned summer tyres in the boot. Windscreen intact and clear, only minor imperfections. Reasonably good service history. Mileage relatively low for the car's age. Great to drive, powerful yet economical. A skilled person can make this an excellent everyday car for many years.


Now the repair items:


- the gearbox jerks slightly when shifting 1->2 and 2->1, this should be investigated at some point. Still fully drivable at present


- the Webasto heater does not work and will need attention to get it running


- engine oil leaks which must of course be repaired at least before the next MOT


- possibly restore the engine programming to factory settings?


- there may be other faults if you dig deeper into the technical areas
