We turned the idea into a product and so the Premium Hot Tub was born, offering space to lounge thanks to a two‑metre diameter! Easy‑use, versatile Step In step

You might not expect one plastic step to have so many uses, but it does. We designed a Step In step to make entering and exiting the tub easier. The step naturally helps with getting into and out of the hot tub, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise sink below the water. Parents can relax more when children have their own appropriately sized step. In use we have also found the step to be a handy armrest — it makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient lounging tub. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for bathers of all ages and helps people with limited mobility.

Premium class adds extra space to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we make high‑quality hot tubs, and the Premium range takes it a step further thanks to its larger size. With the Premium range you get a bigger tub and first‑class comfort. In smaller tubs legs often get tangled in the middle, but an extra 30–40 centimetres of diameter makes a big difference! The water volume does not increase markedly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is ready to use in almost the same time as smaller tubs. A wealth of choices

We apologise in advance for making some parts of the buying decision difficult — but this is a good problem. You get to make choices so the Premium Step In Hot Tub is tailored to your taste. You can choose the plastic shell colour from five options. That's not all. You can also choose the external cladding material from three options and the lid colour between black or grey. The shell colour palette is inspired by nature, including shades such as sea blue and lichen grey. All tones work well together.

Insulated for northern climates

To achieve top performance also in insulation, we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in substantial thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 centimetres of EPS insulation, which keeps frost away and the bath water warm even in colder weather. We also added plenty of thermal plastic to the sides so the edges are insulated, too. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that, when properly covered, the Premium Step In Hot Tub is still warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend one load of wood fired before the next day's bath. Active‑oxygen tablets thrown into the water after the previous evening's bath will also refresh the water for the next session. Then enjoy again — or, for children, splash about.

Powerful, hot performance

Our efficient marine‑aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kilowatt stove is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has a stylish glass door so the wood‑fired tub creates a pleasant glow without needing to open the door to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's marine‑aluminium stoves are made in Finland and are part of the hot tub package. The powerful stove tolerates both fresh and brackish water. Well thought‑through material choices make the stove an excellent product. The stove package includes two metres of flue pipe and a rain cap; if you want extra pipe, a spark guard or other extras, see the accessories list.

Note that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, since chlorine oxidises marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active‑oxygen tablets (see accessories). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be used for watering plants as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Non‑treated water can form a slimy residue on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this.

Worry‑free plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and carefully designed shell of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is made from rotationally moulded Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has a memory — it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The easy‑care, durable shell stands the test of time, which is why we offer a ten‑year warranty.

Because the shell has no moulded seams, dirt does not collect in hidden crevices. Remember to keep the shell surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with normal detergents. More meticulous users may occasionally disinfect their tub, but please ensure proper disposal of wastewater.
