Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we performed a test drive and condition assessment, during which we made the following observations:


  • The engine runs roughly; there was a small amount of oil in the engine on arrival

  • The engine is venting more than normal

  • Steady seepage from the valve cover all around

  • The clutch judders considerably when cold

  • The suspension is noticeably loose on road, it pulls and knocks

  • The body otherwise has a fair number of small dents, scratches and scuffs; the bumper has larger cracks

  • Windscreen cracked across its full width from the lower edge

  • Left daytime running light not working

  • Service history ends in 2015

  • Interior intact but with slight mould at least on the rear seats, no significant corrosion on the body and the interior smells damp


The car has not undergone a technical inspection by us, so there may be hidden faults or new faults may appear shortly after purchase.
