Here's a neat, surprisingly spacious little car with economical running costs. It's become a bit surplus to our needs but has been used regularly and been a reliable runner.


Factory-made Flexifuel — it can run either on E85 ethanol (in our use it has been as cheap as €1.10 per litre) or regular petrol. Taxes just under €200 per year. Next inspection March 2026.


Overall condition is tidy for the mileage; the exterior has small marks and some touch-ups here and there. The rear arches have been spot‑repaired at times (see photos), but the panels are solid. Interior is in very good condition and the driver’s seat remains supportive. Fresh-smelling interior; non‑smoker.


Surprisingly roomy — we even moved a small load with the rear seats down and could fit a bookcase inside.


An auxiliary light is included and lights up well. Heated windscreen and panoramic roof are intact.


Summer tyres on the original alloy wheels in good condition; winter tyres on steel wheels + original hubcaps (not fitted in the photos). As a bonus, the notoriously fragile Ford wheel nuts (those who know, know) have been replaced with aftermarket ones.


Good equipment:

  • Cruise control, works well

  • Basic trip computer — shows consumption and remaining range

  • AUX input (radio and CD also work)

  • Steering‑wheel remote for the player

  • Automatic climate control, separate temperature control for the passenger, worked well even in heat

  • Engine block heater + interior heater — both recently tested and working

  • Front seat heaters

  • Isofix x2 on the rear bench

  • 1× key with remote + spare key without remote

  • Heated windscreen + rear window

  • Panoramic roof

  • Timing‑chain engine


And now the negatives:

The service book is present, but entries stop around 2021. The previous owner did some work themselves and there are a few receipts.

The windscreen washer fluid leaks down to almost empty; it is currently empty.

Two winter tyres show uneven wear, and at least one summer tyre does too (see photos). Slight vibration at motorway speeds with the winter tyres; summer tyres are OK.

The front corner on the driver’s side knocks a little in larger potholes.

The clutch has been a bit "fussy" when pulling away during our ownership, so possibly worn. Still roadworthy.
