-The car required some welding and filler work for the inspection; a keen eye may notice a colour mismatch on the right front corner, but it is easy to paint over with the correct colour if desired. There is also a small clearcoat defect on the bonnet in the same corner.


-I also installed a main battery cut-off switch some time ago because the vehicle lost power during longer storage. This has worked flawlessly and power is available whenever needed by turning the switch. Visible in the photos; it is located beside the gear lever.


-The rear window is made of plexiglass, tinted, sealed and screwed in place; it withstands frost and rain like real glass. The inspector raised no objections.


-The engine starts well and the gears engage smoothly. Low- and high-range four-wheel drive work flawlessly, as does rear-wheel drive. When accelerating in second gear the engine "coughs" a little in the 2,000–3,000 rpm range but then pulls normally. Possibly the spark plugs or air filter are slightly worn. I never got around to investigating this; otherwise it has worked well.

ABS light came on during the winter when I drove it a bit — possibly due to frost or moisture.

Otherwise the mechanics work perfectly.


-Does not leak oil or other fluids.

-An engine block heater is fitted and a branching kit for the interior heater is also installed.


-The car has been used by me solely for hunting, driven only in autumn; otherwise it has been stored in a garage.


This would make an excellent hunting car for someone — or even for daily use!
