Additional information

For sale: a 1.8 16V Opel Astra G Bertone coupe for the next owner. First the positives: it comes with good tyres and what I think are attractive summer wheels.

-Service history is very comprehensive; it has had rust protection and similar work, and I have plenty of receipts. The last recorded service I have is 2021, and it has of course been serviced since then :)

-New alternator; only a few thousand kilometres on it.

-The last inspection passed with no remarks, so there should be worry-free kilometres ahead!


Now a few negatives

-I haven’t checked myself because I don’t have a reader, but the engine warning light is on. The previous owner said there’s an ECU issue, but it doesn’t affect the inspection or drivability — it just won’t deliver full power, probably goes into a kind of limp mode — but it has been drivable despite that.

-The central display is not working because it was programmed for a specific head unit and that unit is no longer present, so it shows random things.

-Winter tyres are a bit worn.


I’ll keep the car’s audio gear and the head unit — i.e. the subwoofer and the rear parcel shelf — and I will install another Bluetooth head unit in its place.

The car currently has a "tuning" bumper fitted; two standard bumpers and one bonnet are included.
