Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget old-fashioned felling irons, wooden wedges, sling‑ratchets and luck. The Jokijärvi wedge can be used in several ways — with a battery-powered impact wrench, a ratchet or a powerful cordless driver. Easy to carry.

The device is simple to operate: once the chosen felling direction is decided and the required notch has been cut in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which runs between stainless steel lamellae, forward so the saw cut opens and the tree falls in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guider produces the force needed to fell trees exactly where intended, with little strain on the faller. The safe distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. With a single 4 Ah battery you can fell dozens of trees.
