Has served a short commute; after the inspection I drove (because I had to) one longer run of just over 150 km and, although it wasn’t exactly a comfortable driving experience (twenty years of improvement in car comfort is noticeable here), the little blue car still delivered its occupants to their destinations.

The Honda is sold "for repair" because, frankly, the poor warm-up at idle is a disappointment.

Fault or feature? I don’t know and it wasn’t investigated further on a car at this price; expect the worst so you won’t be disappointed — you may be pleasantly surprised.

But it’s annoying: you start it in the morning and five minutes later, when you’re about to leave, the window is still frozen.


As a light in the dark, it comes with a DEFA cable and an interior heater so you don’t have to scrape the windows, and it warms up faster when pre-heated.


Recommended uses: very short commute (otherwise your backside will complain), farm car — although it’s a shame to beat up such an unusually rust-free Honda body, it could also be oddly satisfying.

Could also serve as a greenhouse, and the highest return would probably be selling it for parts — one would think most cars this age have already fallen apart.
