A very tidy, Mitsubishi-esque Japanese treat for those who want a sporty SUV but haven’t found a model in the Finnish market with enough punch. The engine is the familiar 4G63T from Evo Lancers, tuned in the Airtrek to 240 hp (≈177 kW) and sent to the road via the only proper system here: a permanent 50/50 four-wheel drive.


The Airtrek shares many spare parts with the turbo Outlander, so servicing and upkeep are very straightforward to arrange in Finland, whether used as a hobby car or everyday vehicle.
